Saudi football player Yasir is healthy after successful surgery

Saudi Arabia’s defender Yasir Al Shahrani was seriously injured on the day of the historic win against Argentina. His jaw and the left side of his face were broken. But he is healthy after successful surgery.

The Saudi Football Federation confirmed the matter in a statement on Wednesday night.

Saudi Arabia scored a historic 2-1 win over Argentina on Tuesday night. Towards the end of the match, Saudi goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Wais came forward to prevent an Argentine attack. While jumping up to catch the ball, compatriot Yasir Ali Shahrani was hit hard with his knee.

Shahrani was lying on the field for a long time. His face was covered in blood. After that, he was taken out of the field on a stretcher.

After the X-ray, it is known that Yasir Al Shahrani’s jaw and the left side of his face are broken. He required surgery due to internal bleeding.

Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman ordered Yasir to be flown to Germany on a private plane for treatment.

After that, he was taken to Germany for surgery in the private plane of the Saudi prince.

Yasir underwent jaw surgery on Wednesday night. He is healthy after successful surgery.
