Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf (D) has announced an investigation into the unauthorized public use of a photo of Donald Trump with some Pennsylvania state troopers.

Penn Live reported:

Gov. Tom Wolf is under investigation after former President Donald Trump posted a photo of himself with dozens of state police troopers on his social media site when it should have been private.

Wolf’s press secretary, Elizabeth Rementer, told PennLive, “According to the PSP, this was a private photo opportunity with the former president and was not authorized for public use by the former president. The administration is investigating the matter.”

Before anyone says First Amendment, the problem is that Pennsylvania state troopers are prohibited from appearing in political photos while in uniform. Any member of the military could have appeared in uniform in a photo with Trump, but it would have been useless for the former president. Trump is trying to sell power during criminal investigations, so he needs soldiers in uniform around him.

All military personnel in uniform in this picture may face disciplinary action.

Nothing will happen to Trump and his associates for posting this photo, but as a rule, anyone who follows Trump or follows his orders will suffer the consequences.
