Batch admission test started today, the center will have water and medical facilities

Sadek Ali: First year undergraduate admission test for 2023-24 academic year in 24 clustered universities begins today (April 27). On this day, the ‘A’ unit exam will be held from 12 noon to 1 pm. Architecture practical (drawing) exam will be conducted on the same day from 3.30 pm to 4.30 pm.

Besides, the admission test will be held on Friday, May 3 (‘B’ Unit-Humanities) and Friday, May 10 (‘C’ Unit-Commerce). The admission test of these two units will be held from 11 am to 12 pm.

On the occasion of the admission test, the overall preparation has already been completed. Meanwhile, special attention is being paid to the safety of the students during the ongoing heat wave. The Vice Chancellor of Jessore University of Science and Technology Prof. Dr. confirmed the fact. Md. Anwar Hossain said that all the universities have been requested to take proper preventive measures during the heat wave. At the same time, I am calling upon the Vice-Chancellors of the concerned universities under the cluster to provide sufficient fresh water and first aid supplies in the examination centers for the protection of the admitted candidates.

This year, 3 lakh 5 thousand 346 applications have been submitted against a total of 21 thousand seats in the cluster universities. Accordingly, 15 aspirants will fight for each seat.

This year’s batch admission test application is open from 12-27 February. During this period, 1 lakh 70 thousand 599 applications have been submitted in ‘A’ unit of science branch, 94 thousand 631 in ‘B’ unit of humanities branch and 40 thousand 116 applications in ‘C’ unit of business education branch.
