Child dies after falling from roof in Khilgaon
Mostafizur Rahman: [২] A child named Faria (5) died after falling from a five-storey building in Khilgaon of the capital. In this incident, while trying to save him, his mother-in-law fell down and was injured. Isaac (25). The incident took place at a rented house in Khilgaon Gogan Tempu Stand Post Office Lane around five o’clock on Friday afternoon.
[৩] After rescuing the two seriously injured children, the on-duty doctor brought Shishu Faria to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital at around eight o’clock in the night. The injured Ishaq is undergoing treatment.
[৪] Inspector in charge of police camp Bachchu Mia confirmed the truth. He said that the body has been kept in the hospital morgue for autopsy. The matter has been reported to the concerned police station.
[৫] The dead child’s father Faisal said, we live on the fourth floor of that building. On the fifth floor, my sister Papia and her husband. Lives with Isaac. All the time daughter Faria goes upstairs to Phupi’s house, stays near Phupi, plays sports. In the afternoon I came from work and slept in the room. Faria went to her sister-in-law’s room alone. Their rooms are on the fifth floor as well as part of the roof. Faria also plays sports there. When Faria falls from the fifth floor, both of them, including Isaac, fall from the top while trying to save her. Later both were brought to Dhaka Medical.
[৬] Ishaq is under treatment in critical condition, he quoted the doctor as saying. Mr. Faria Jhalkathi Kanthalia Upazila Pran Company Salesman Md. Faisal’s only daughter.
