But the news is definitely not good for those who have plans to do puja market at the end of the week. Rain will increase in South Bengal from Saturday. Rain is also forecast for North Bengal.

The Alipur Weather Office said that there is a possibility of rain in all the districts of South Bengal from September 10 i.e. Saturday to September 13 i.e. Tuesday. Coastal districts are likely to experience heavy rain on Saturday. Scattered heavy rain is likely over East Midnipur, two 24 Parganas and Kolkata. The amount of rain will increase from Sunday. This low pressure rain will continue till Monday and Tuesday.

Alipur Meteorological Office said on Friday that a low pressure will remain over West-Central Bay of Bengal, North-West Bay of Bengal on Friday. It was formed in the west-central Bay of Bengal. In next 36 hours it will increase in strength and stay in the same place. Because of that there is a risk of rain in the southern districts.

The weather office said that on September 11 and 12 there will be heavy rain in two 24 Parganas and two Medinipur. Met office has also predicted heavy rain in Kolkata, Hooghly, Jhargram, Namurshidabad, Burdwan. Heavy rain is expected in Nadia, Murshidabad and Birbhum on Monday.

Not only South Bengal. Rain will also increase in North Bengal from this day. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Dinajpur and Malda. The Met Office has issued warnings for coastal areas. Said low pressure will be over the sea, so the weather can turn bad at any time. Winds will blow at a speed of 45 km in the coastal areas. There will be rain under the influence of low pressure. Therefore, the weather office expects the temperature to drop a bit.
