Comedy movie ‘Made in Chittagong’ made in regional language of Chittagong is releasing on Friday. The movie will be seen in Sugandha and Silver Screen Halls of Chittagong from the first day of its release.

Partha Barua and Aparna Ghosh played the lead roles in the movie ‘Made in Chittagong’. It is directed by Imraul Rafat.

Imraul Rafat said that it is being released only in Chittagong first because it is made in the regional language of Chittagong. He said, ‘There are only two cinema halls in Chittagong. It is very sad. The audience will see the movie in both these. Later we will release the movie all over the country including Dhaka.

The director also said, ‘This is the first film of Chittagong’s regional culture full of humor about Mejbaan, Jabbar’s ball game or Bella Biscuit’s love.’

He said that he and his team will be in Chittagong on Friday and Saturday. There they will talk to the visitors at the exhibitions and get feedback from them.

Almost all the artists of ‘Made in Chittagong’ are from Chittagong. Chitralekha Guha, Nasiruddin Khan and many others are in this list. But Saju Khadem is from a different region.

The film is produced by Enamul Kabir Sujan. It is said to be released on an OTT platform sometime later.
