RAB-7 arrested six members of the youth gang ‘Swaz-47’ with domestic weapons in Feni.

On Friday morning, April 26, the arrested were handed over to the court through Feni Model Police Station. RAB-7 Feni Camp confirmed this information to the media through a press release.

It is known that on Thursday (25th April) raids were carried out in Madhyam Rampur area of ​​Feni city on the basis of secret information and arrest of juvenile gang members including ‘Swaz-47’ group chief Mahis.

The arrested are Mainuddin’s son Saikat (17) of Sundarpur village of Feni, Md Rajib’s son of Panch Gachiya. Arman (19), son of Swapan of Miyaji Road. Asif (18), son of Abul Hossain of Baraigni area. Babu (19), son of Manik of Bhadadia village, group head Md. Mahi (22) and Sunderganj upazila of Gaibandha district of Jaram river area. Son of Rafiqul Islam. Manik (18).

According to RAB, they were armed with weapons at the scene and preparing for the robbery. On the basis of such information, a raiding party of RAB-7, Feni, raided the place at midnight. 6 members of the juvenile gang were arrested from the spot.

Later, a steel knife, a folding knife and some mobile phones were recovered after searching their bodies.

The camp commander of RAB-7 in Fenisth, Squadron Leader Mohammad Sadekul Islam, said that the arrested persons formed a youth gang group called Swaz-47 with the youths of different areas of Feni district. They admitted that they were involved in various criminal activities and committed armed robberies in connivance with each other.

After filing a case in this regard, the arrested persons were brought to the court through Feni Model Police Station on Friday morning.
