The US Senate has passed a $95 billion aid bill for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan. The aid package has the largest allocation for Ukraine. The country will be given $61 billion in military aid. Next, $26 billion is allocated to Israel and $8.12 billion to Taiwan. The bill was passed on Tuesday (April 23) local time.

In a report on Wednesday (April 24), the British media BBC reported that US President Joe Biden is expected to sign this bill today. The bill passed on a bipartisan vote of 79-18.

In a statement Tuesday welcoming the bill’s passage, Joe Biden said it was a ‘critical’ piece of legislation; That will make our nation and the world more secure. We support our friends who are defending themselves against ‘terrorists’ like Hamas and ‘tyrants’ like Putin.

On this day, the majority leader of the Democratic Senate, Chuck Schumer, said that the United States has shown that it does not turn its back on its allies.

Earlier, the US House of Representatives passed the military aid bill on Saturday (April 20).
