Among the remittances sent by expatriates, the largest amount of 108 million 81 million dollars came through private banks.

Apart from this, 11 million dollars came through state-owned banks, 79 million dollars through a specialized bank and 3933 thousand US dollars through foreign banks.

Before this, expatriates sent $210 million in January this year, $216 million in February and $1996.8 million in March.

According to Central Bank data, in January 2023, expatriates sent remittances of 195.88 million dollars. In addition, $156 million in February, $202 million in March, $168 million in April, $169 million in May, $220 million in June, $197 million in July, $159 million in August, $133 million in September, $197 million in October, $193 million in November and $193 million in December. 199 billion dollar remittance.

On April 19, through state-owned banks, the income of expatriates reached 11 million three hundred and twenty thousand dollars. 7 crore 90 lakh 90 thousand dollars came through Krishi Bank. 108 crore 81 lakh 70 thousand dollars came through private commercial banks. And 39 million 30 thousand dollars came through foreign banks for business in the country.

The highest expatriate income as a single bank came through Islami Bank. No expatriate income came through foreign banks Uri Bank, State Bank of India, National Bank of Pakistan and Habib Bank. No expatriate income came through ICB Islami Bank, Citizen Bank, Community Bank, Rajshahi Krishi Bank and BDBL Bank.

Note that in the financial year 2022-23, expatriates have sent remittances of 2 thousand 161 million US dollars. In the financial year 2020-21, the highest remittance in the history of the country was two thousand 477 million dollars.
