The police recovered the body of a woman named Afroza Begum (36), a Canadian expatriate, in Dakshinkhan area of ​​the capital. Husband Ashraful Alam cannot be found in this incident. The body was recovered from Shamchuddin Sarkar’s residence in Dakshinpara, Naddapara, Dakshinkhan on Wednesday around 11 pm.

The deceased woman was from Nijbhogdaburi village of Domar upazila of Nilphamari district. Daughter of Ataullah Mandal. He has one son and one daughter. On the other hand, her husband Ashraful Alam is the son of Shamchuddin Sarkar of Naddapara Dakshinpara of Dakshinkhan.

Police say that he may have fled to Canada after killing his wife.

The matter was confirmed by SI Rezia Khatun of Dakshinkhan police station. He said that the woman was killed and her body was buried in the ground for disappearance. The body was recovered from the side of her husband’s house. But the husband is absconding. Legal action is under process in this incident.

Ariful Islam, younger brother of the deceased, said that his sister, brother-in-law and niece came to Bangladesh from Canada about three months ago. They are Canadian citizens. Suddenly my sister is not available since last Friday. Did not find it after searching in different places. Finally on Monday they filed a missing GD at Dakshinkhan police station. On Wednesday, they found her body buried in the ground in a vacant lot next to her brother-in-law’s house. Then the matter was reported to the police.

In this incident, the police said, after the DG, the police went to the house of the victim’s husband. After that, the police came to know that Afroza was killed. After that, they took her husband on a video call. It was the husband who confessed to killing his wife and showed the place where the body was kept. At the end, Afroza’s body was recovered. The police kept the gate of the house closed to avoid any untoward incident during the recovery of the body.
