In Bhurungamari Upazila of Kurigram, the question paper of the current SSC exam has been leaked. The Dinajpur Education Board has suspended the examination of four subjects due to this complaint.

Kurigram District Education Officer. Shamsul Alam told Samakal this information on Wednesday morning.

He said that due to the leak of the question papers of the current SSC examination, the examination of four subjects namely Mathematics, Agriculture, Physics and Chemistry has been suspended.

In an urgent notice signed by Professor Kamrul Islam, Chairman of Dinajpur Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, it was informed that the ongoing SSC examination of 2022 under Dinajpur Education Board has been postponed due to unavoidable reasons. Exam date will be notified in due course. Except for the postponed subjects, the examination of all other subjects will be conducted as per the schedule mentioned in the routine.

Chairman of the Education Board Professor Kamrul Islam said that all the SSC examination center secretaries under Dinajpur Education Board have been informed about the postponement of the examination.

Meanwhile, when there was a complaint of leakage of question papers in Bhurungamari of Kurigram in the ongoing SSC examination, Dinajpur Education Board Chairman Professor Kamrul Islam, Kurigram District Commissioner Mohammad Rezaul Karim and Police Superintendent Al Asad Md. Mahfuzul Islam held a four-hour meeting at Bhurungamari police station and UNO office. A case was filed after the meeting. In this case, three teachers along with the secretary of an examination center were detained and arrested after interrogation.

Upazila Fisheries Officer Adam Malik Chowdhury, the tag officer in charge of the center filed a case at Bhurungamari police station on Tuesday night. The teachers arrested on the charge of leaking questions are the head teacher of Nehal Uddin Girls High School of the upazila, Lutfar Rahman, secretary of the examination center, assistant teachers of the same school, Yobair Hossain and Russell Mia.
