Jumbangla Desk: Huawei unveiled the ‘Empower Program’ to support global partners on the second day of Huawei Connect held in Bangkok, Thailand. With their support, Huawei will invest 300 million US dollars in the next three years.

The program will help Huawei partners acquire three types of capabilities to provide better customer service. These are: consulting and planning in digital transformation, product and portfolio related expertise and development of various solutions. In this program, Huawei will go to joint innovation with partners through ‘OpenLab’; which will contribute to their empowerment through new frameworks, plans and integrated platforms.

In addition, talent development will be supported through Huawei ICT Academy and Huawei Authorized Learning Partner (HALP) programs.

Ryan Ding, president of Huawei Enterprise BG, said in his keynote address ‘Empowering Industry, Creating Value’, “Digital transformation will help organizations survive in a fast-changing world. Huawei continues to work closely with its partners to provide practical technical support, advance digital transformation and accelerate digital capabilities.”

At the time, Ding also said that by using Huawei’s connectivity, computing and cloud technologies, it is working with its partners to continue sector-related innovation, ensure multi-tech synergy and come up with scenario-based solutions to meet the various needs of customers. He further said that this initiative by Huawei will play a significant role and ensure the comfort of customers in taking extensive steps in digital transformation.

The three-day conference in Bangkok is the first step in Huawei Connect’s global journey. The Huawei Connect event will feature two keynote sessions, six summits and numerous discussion sessions and demos, where various challenges faced by governments and enterprises at different stages of their journey towards digital transformation will be discussed. In addition, Huawei’s advancements in digital infrastructure, state-of-the-art cloud services and ecosystem partner solutions will be highlighted.
