G 24 Hours Digital Bureau: The popular comedian died at the age of 58. Last August, Raju Srivastava was admitted to the hospital after suffering from a heart attack. He was on ventilation for a long time. But in the end the life was not saved. This comedy artist suddenly fell while doing the trade meeting. He was immediately admitted to AIIMS Hospital in New Delhi. He was undergoing treatment there for 41 days. His family said on Wednesday morning that Raju died in AIIMS this morning.

Raju was on ventilation since September 1. At times he was taken off ventilation but later due to high fever he was ventilated again. Bollywood is also saddened by his untimely death. Apart from stand-up comedy, Raju acted in comic roles in several Hindi films. Mayon Par Kia, Bombay to Goa, import glue costs Rupaya, Bazigar is one of them. Raju has been involved in the entertainment industry since 1980. He rose to fame in 2005 after participating in the first season of the reality stand-up comedy show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. He was the Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Film Development Council till his death.
Raju Srivastava was born on 25 December 1963 in Kanpur. Father Rameshchandra Srivastava was a famous poet of Kanpur. He named his son Satyaprakash Srivastava. But everyone called him Raju. He could imitate people he knew from childhood. Could make anyone laugh in any way. Raju dreamed of becoming a comedian.
