Today’s Covid Update | Daily covid bulletin in India 22nd September, 2022 dgtl

For three consecutive days, the number of corona infected people across the country has been around 4,000, but in the last 24 hours, the number of daily infected with corona has increased to 5,000. According to the Covid bulletin issued by the Union Health Ministry, the daily number of corona infected in the last 24 hours is 5,443. On Wednesday, the number was 4,510. Looking at the state-wise covid situation, it can be seen that Kerala is at the top in daily infections. In the last 24 hours, the number of daily infected in Kerala has again crossed the two thousand mark. In the last 24 hours, the number of daily cases in Kerala is 2,088. It is followed by Maharashtra (640), Tamil Nadu (509), Karnataka (390) and West Bengal (365) in the list of daily infections.

According to the Union Health Ministry’s Covid Bulletin, 14 people have died due to Covid in the last 24 hours. Out of this, five people have died in Maharashtra and one person each in Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Mizoram, Puducherry and Kerala. Apart from this, 12 people died earlier in Kerala due to corona which was recorded later in the list. This number was 14 on Wednesday as well. So far 5 lakh 30 thousand 810 people have died due to covid in the country.

According to statistics, the country’s daily infection rate rose slightly to 1.61 percent in the last 24 hours. The daily infection rate on Wednesday was 1.37 percent. The percentage of people tested positive for the virus is called the positivity rate or infection rate.

According to Union Health Ministry statistics, 5,291 persons have recovered from the Covid outbreak in the last 24 hours. 4 crore 39 lakh 78 thousand 271 people have recovered across the country. Currently the recovery rate is 98.71 percent.
