The victory of December 16 was not easy if the Mujibnagar government was not formed. April is largely neglected these days. A country called Bangladesh became known to the world only through the formation of this Mujibnagar government.

On Monday (April 22), the speakers said these things at a discussion meeting at the RC Majumdar Arts Auditorium organized by the Bangladesh Dhaka University branch of Sampriti.

Pro-VC (Education) of Dhaka University in the speech of the chief guest. Sitesh Chandra Bachar said, Mujibnagar government’s role in the liberation war was very commendable. When talking about the history of the liberation war of Bangladesh, the Mujibnagar government will come up. The correct history of the liberation war of Bangladesh should be conveyed to the young generation. The youth will move forward inspired by the correct history.

Chief negotiator Piyush Banerjee said, “Six points, liberation war or whatever is being talked about, Dhaka University, Battala comes up.” These are not human emotions but human desires are involved in them. December would not have come in our lives without April. Victory on December 16 was not easy if the Mujibnagar government was not formed. But today the month of April is neglected a lot. A country called Bangladesh became known to the world only through the formation of this Mujibnagar government.

Speaking at the discussion meeting, Professor Biman Chandra Barua said that when talking about liberation war, Mujibnagar government or Bangladesh of harmony, the name of Bangabandhu comes before everyone.
