Scam: What do you really know about ‘Kalighater Kaku’? What happened? Bangla is uproar over ED’s move

Kolkata: This time ED issued notice to Sujoy Krishna Bhadra i.e. ‘Kaku of Kalighat’ in recruitment corruption case. He has been summoned to the CGO complex next week. Earlier the CBI summoned him and the house was raided by ED and CBI, both investigating agencies. The ED raided the in-laws of ‘Kalighat Kaku’ i.e. Sujoy Krishna Bhadra in the recruitment corruption case from last Saturday morning. The way Sujoy Krishna Bhadra, the cousin of Kalighat, spread financial influence, his sharers or his in-laws, is the allegation. According to local sources, Sujoy has three brothers-in-law in his in-laws. They don’t operate that way. However, many claim that they were framed by Sujoy Babu.

Sujoy Babur, three brothers-in-law can be said to be unemployed. Someone is a salesman in a store, someone is involved in promoting work in a small way. ED officials searched various papers in their house and recovered some documents. There was a cupboard at the entrance of the in-laws’ house. After not getting the key of that cupboard, the ED officials finally called Mistry and broke the key of the cupboard.

Several gold purchase and gold mortgage documents were recovered from that cupboard. Later, ED officials went to the gold shop in Behala Manton and checked the papers. After searching for about 13 hours, the ED team finally left the place after seizing some documents.

Sujoy Babu also has an office next to his in-laws. ED found a large quantity of expensive liquor bottles and laptops, computers inside that office. According to sources, a hard disk was collected from there. The ED has searched a total of 5 places in Sujoy Bhadra’s relatives and office. After that, ‘Kalighater Kaku’ also sent some documents to ED through a close friend. Now the ED has given him a notice to appear in person.

Meanwhile, South 24 Parganas Zilla Parishad member Gnanand Samant and civic volunteer Rahul Bera arrived at the ED office on Friday in the recruitment corruption case. They were summoned by the ED.
