Chittagong: Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CHUET) two students crushed Shah Amanat bus driver Md. Tajul Islam has been arrested.
He was arrested from Kotwali area of the city on Wednesday (April 24) afternoon.
Md. Tajul Islam (49), son of Abdul Khalil of Karam Ali Haji’s house in Chikdair area of Rauzan police station.
Chittagong District Additional Superintendent of Police (DSB) Abu Taib Mohammad Arif Hossain told Banglanews that the bus driver involved in the death of two students of Chuet has been arrested from Kotwali area of the city.
He is being taken to the court from the Chittagong District Superintendent of Police office, gate number two of the city.
Earlier, two students of Chuet were killed by a bus of Shah Amanat Paribahan in Jianagar area of Chittagong-Kaptai road at around 3:30 pm on April 22. In this accident, another student is under treatment in the hospital in critical condition.
