He is studying chemistry at university. Despite various disabilities and obstacles, Ghanim indulges himself in various activities like swimming, scuba diving, skateboarding, rock climbing. He is considered to be the youngest entrepreneur in Qatar. He has a famous business called Gharisa Ice Cream. Apart from this, he has a charity organization for the support of disabled children.
In 2018, Ghanim created a stir in the world by speaking at TEDX held at Qatar University.
In 2009, he was recognized as an unsung hero by the 21st Century Leaders Foundation. In 2014, he was appointed as the Ambassador of Peace by the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. He received various awards and positions in the national and international arena, including serving as the brand ambassador of the Qatar Financial Center Authority.
