Kabir Shankar Bose became a BJP candidate in Srirampur with money? That’s the complaint. He was heard in a viral audio. The audio contains a recording of a phone conversation between two people. It is claimed that one of them is Kabir, a BJP candidate from Srirampur. However, he himself denied the allegations and called the viral audio ‘fake’. Allegedly, the leftists have spread the audio on social media. CPM candidate Dipsita Dhar dismissed the allegations. A new battle has started in Srirampur amid the polls surrounding the viral audio.

The audio was released recently from a YouTube channel. There is a conversation with an unidentified person, claiming that it is the voice of BJP candidate Kabir. Another ‘call record’ contains conversations after reaching Delhi. Anandabazar Online has not verified the authenticity of this viral audio.

The BJP candidate from Srirampur himself claimed the audio as ‘fake’. Kabir said, “Completely fake. It’s not my throat. I have already written to the police and election commission. The portal from which the audio has gone viral is called ‘Comrade’. All the posters of Dipsita Dahar have ‘Comrade’ written on them. So is there any connection between these two? Investigation required. I will approach the court.”

Dismissing the allegations, Dipsita said, “I don’t think the audio is viral. We have no interest in this audio. If our intention was to preach these words, then we would have said this in various public meetings. We have not said all this anywhere. He said he will file a case. We are saying, file a case, if necessary we will give money.” He said, “Whose YouTube channel is that?” What is his IP address? We also want to know all this. I think BJP people have done all this.
