Madhyamik and Higher Secondary Examination 2024 | Madhyamik and Higher Secondary results will be out in May dgtl

The result of secondary and higher secondary examination will be published in the month of May itself. State Education Minister Bratya Basu said that the Madhyamiksha Parshad will announce the Madhyamik results on May 2. Higher secondary result will be known after few more days. The higher secondary education council will release the results on May 8, the education minister said.

This year the Madhyamik exam started on February 2. It ended on February 12. Besides, higher secondary exams are going on till February 29. In both cases, the rule is to publish the results within three months of the examination. In case of Madhyamik, that period ends on May 12. According to calculations, the time to declare higher secondary results was till May 29. 90 days before the results of two exams are published.

There have been changes this year in the process of checking report, uploading marks etc. after taking the exam. In both secondary and higher secondary, the role of machinery has been increased by reducing human labour. In Madhyamik, however, computer based system was introduced from last year. In higher secondary this time most of the methods have the touch of instruments. Because of that, the chances of making a mistake are considered to be less than before. It is being said on behalf of the Board and the Parliament that it has been decided to introduce a computer-based system for the benefit of the students so that there is transparency and less errors in viewing the examination book.

2025 Madhyamik exam will start on February 14. It will end on February 24. That year the higher secondary examination will start on March 3. Will continue till March 18.
