A few weeks away from nuclear bomb Iran!

--

Western countries are curious about Iran’s nuclear weapons. Israel is also very concerned about Tehran’s nuclear program amid the ongoing Hamas-Israel war. In the meantime, Western organizations have started vigorous discussions about the possibility of the Shiite majority country in the Middle East getting nuclear weapons. In such a situation, the head of the United Nations International Atomic Energy Agency has made explosive comments about Iran’s nuclear bomb development schedule.

In an interview given to the German media Deutsche Welle, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency and IAEA, Rafael Grossi, said that Iran will need only one more week to enrich uranium suitable for making a nuclear bomb. However, Grossi commented that it is not true that Iran will develop nuclear weapons or that the country already has nuclear weapons.

The head of the IAEA said that Iran’s uranium enrichment level approaching the level suitable for making nuclear weapons could be a cause of concern for the world. But there is no direct evidence that Tehran now has nuclear weapons. Grossi said many things are needed to build an effective nuclear warhead. Iran’s nuclear program is therefore highly speculative.

Iran, however, maintains that its nuclear program is aimed entirely at peaceful uses. Spokesperson of the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Kanani, said that there is no place in Tehran’s nuclear policy for the production of weapons. In such a situation, Rafael Grossi requested to increase the access of UN observers to the country’s nuclear project. He thinks that this will put an end to various speculations about Tehran’s nuclear project.

American journalist Joby Warrick recently wrote an article in the Washington Post about Iran’s nuclear weapons capabilities. Where he claims, Iran is on the verge of making nuclear bomb. Journalist Jobi Wari writes that the Trump administration made a big mistake by withdrawing from the nuclear deal with Iran. Under the cover of which, the country is moving ahead on the path of making nuclear weapons, avoiding the attention of the United Nations and international observers.

The article mentions that Iran is currently enriching uranium up to 60 percent in its Natanz and Fordo nuclear projects. A minimum of 90 percent enrichment is required to make a nuclear weapon or bomb. Joby Warrick claims that the rate at which Iran is enriching uranium will soon enable it to produce nuclear weapons.
