They were accompanied by two bomb makers from outside. More than the specified amount of gunpowder was being used to increase the intensity of the bomb. According to police sources, the explosion occurred due to excessive heat. Two youths were seriously injured in the blast. Locals claim that a 19-year-old college student named Jinnat Ali Sheikh, a resident of Monaikandara village, has several fingers blown off. Villagers think that finger is spread on the road. When the police arrived, the miscreants fled the area. Police surround the entire area. Media personnel were also allegedly barred from the spot. Incidentally, the polling station was located in the forest behind the school where the bomb was being planted.

Locals claim that after the explosion, the miscreants fled the area with the injured. Although admitting the explosion, the injured Jinnat’s family did not want to say anything about where he is now. Jinnat’s relative Mozammel Mondal said, “Zinnat left the house after finishing the khawadawa. After some time there was a loud noise. It is reported that many people have been injured in the bomb blast. Jinnat’s hands are flying. We went and did not see anyone. I don’t know where it is, who took it. Let the police arrest those who lured a college-going boy into such a bad act.

According to police sources, evidence of explosion was found at the scene. But no bomb was recovered.
