Uttarpara Trinamool MLA and actor Kanchan was with Kalyan in the car with the hood open. But the rhythm was cut before the start of the campaign. Because, Kalyan did not want Kanchan to stay in his campaign car. Kalyan told that to Kanchan. After that, Trinamool MLA from Uttarpara got off the welfare campaign car. After that, he was seen sitting on the back of a party worker’s bike and leaving. According to Kanchan’s followers, he is returning to Kolkata. Kalyan, on whose objection Kanchan had to go down, says, “I don’t know if he is depressed or not.” I have preached about him before. But the women of the village are reacting strongly when they are campaigning with me. I had already told him, ‘Don’t come to the village.’ Why are you just campaigning with me? A MLA, he can campaign himself, but he is not doing that. I am not for individuals, I am for collective people. I can’t make a collective of people suffer for the happiness of one person.”
The MLA did not pick up the phone when Kanchan was contacted for his reaction. According to Trinamool sources, he has returned to Kolkata. Incidentally, actor-legislator Kanchan got married again very recently after separating from his wife. Kalyan claims that there has been a reaction among the people of the area. Although Kalyan does not clarify, why exactly are the women of the village objecting to Kanchan?
