Earlier on March 31, Judge Tariqul Islam of Khulna Metropolitan Court wrote to the Chief Justice to take action against Zahirul Islam Palash, Special Public Prosecutor of Khulna Women and Child Abuse Prevention Tribunal 2, for publishing false and degrading videos about him on social media and indecent behavior in court. .

The letter states that the lawyer is in the courtroom focusing on the hearing of a case Zahirul Islam Palash had a bit of a verbal argument. Therefore, in the interest of justice, I decide to send the case to the Chief Metropolitan Court without hearing it. Then Zahirul Islam Palash said, ‘You made a decision without listening to me?‘ i said ‘This is court procedure, as I had a bit of an argument with you a while back.‘ Then in reply he said in a loud voice, ‘I’m here earlier than you. I understand the procedure well. Your usage is the worst. You are irregular. We are 2000 people in Khulna Bar and you are only 50 people. i know you Your home is Chitalmari. As I am personally embarrassed by such behavior of the counsel for the plaintiff, the learned counsel referred the case to the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Khulna for trial and disposal.

The letter also said that lawyer Zahirul Islam Palash on social media Facebook on the same day ‘First NewsBD 24‘ A page in the name came live and presented the matter in a different way bypassing the facts and court procedure of what happened in the court. At the beginning of the discussion meeting organized on the occasion of Independence and National Day 2024 on March 26, the judge of Women and Child Abuse Prevention Tribunal 2 said that the lawyer had sent the video image provided by him on social media on his personal Facebook messenger. Later Chief Justice Zahirul Islam sent the petition to the High Court to take action against Palash. Following this, the matter came up for hearing today.
