Molly Rani Saha (46) died while undergoing treatment after she was burnt by candle fire while performing puja at a temple in Manikganj. He died at Dhaka Medical College-Hospital’s Sheikh Hasina Burn Unit around 2 am on Thursday (April 25).

Molly Rani is the wife of Ashok Kumar Saha of Bangram area of ​​Gangadharpatti in Manikganj municipality. He was working as a FO in a private insurance company in Manikganj city.

According to family sources, last April 18 night Sri Sri Anandamoyi Kalibari temple in the city was taking a selfie on his mobile phone while putting vermilion on the forehead of the altar on the tenth day of Basanti Durga Puja. At that time, the fire of the candle lit inside the temple caught Molly’s sari and spread on her body. Later, the worshipers of the temple put out the fire in his body and took him to Manikganj Sadar Hospital. But as his condition was alarming, doctors shifted him to Dhaka Medical College-Hospital’s Sheikh Hasina Burn Unit. Later he died while undergoing treatment there.

Molly’s husband Ashok Kumar Saha said Molly’s body has been kept in the freezer of the burn unit. His son studies in Bangalore, India. If the son returns home then the body will be taken home (Manikganj).
