Shiur Rahman Huzzat
A student named Moshiur Rahman Huzzat (15) drowned while bathing in the Brahmaputra river with his friends in Gafargaon, Mymensingh. He is a 10th class student of Rostam Ali Golandaz High School. Khalilur Rahman is the son of Rubel of Sadua village of Niguari union of the upazila. The incident took place in College Ghat area of Gafargaon Municipal area on Thursday afternoon.
According to the police and the victim’s family sources, on Thursday afternoon, Mashiur Rahman Huzzat, Abdullah Al Araf and some friends along with some friends went to Brahmaputra Nader College Ghat to bathe in Gafargaon Islamia Government High School ground. Meanwhile, the friends jumped from the river bank one by one and fell into the water. Moshiur Rahman Hujjat jumped into the river with his friend Abdullah Al Araf. While other friends floated in the water, Huzzat sank. On the shouts of friends, the locals came forward and started looking for Huzzat in the Brahmaputra river. After reporting to the fire service, the diving team came and recovered Hujjat’s body from the spot around 4 pm.
Jamiat Ali, the head of the diving team of the fire service, said, “In the afternoon, the diving team came from Mymensingh and recovered the body of the boy from the college ghat area of the Brahmaputra river.
Upazila Awami League co-publication and publication secretary Khalilur Rahman Rubel, the father of the deceased Huzzat, said, “Every day he goes to play sports with his friends. On Thursdays, he goes to the Brahmaputra river to take a bath. Later he sinks into the water. Fire service diving team came and recovered the body.
