According to sources close to the BJP leader, Varun wants to stay away from the issue of ‘Gandhi vs Gandhi’. Don’t want to compete with your family. Although the political ideologies are different, he does not want to get involved in the ‘Gandhi vs Gandhi’ fight.

It should be noted that he is the current MP in Pilivt. But this time he was not given ticket by BJP. Jiten Prasada got the ticket.

Incidentally, Amethi-Rae Bareli is known as the stronghold of the Nehru-Gandhi family. However, in 2019, Congress lost in Amethi. Union Minister Smriti Irani is BJP’s candidate from this seat. Congress has not yet announced the name of the candidate. Neither the BJP nor the Congress has yet named a candidate for Rae Bareli. These two constituencies are going to polls on May 20, the fifth phase of the Lok Sabha elections. The nomination process for these two constituencies will start from today. It will continue till May 3.
