Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has announced to reduce the price of gold again within 24 hours. The price of good quality gold has been reduced by Rs.630. Now the price of 22 carat gold has reduced by 1 lakh 13 thousand 560 taka. Earlier the price was 1 lakh 14 thousand 190 taka.

This information was informed in a press release signed by Chairman Masudur Rahman of Price Determination and Price Monitoring Standing Committee of Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) on Thursday (April 25). According to the organization, the price of acid gold has decreased in the local market. The new price of gold has been fixed keeping in view the overall situation.

The new prices will be effective from 4.50pm on Thursday (April 25).

According to the new prices, the price of best quality or 22 carat (11.664 grams) gold is Tk 1 lakh 13 thousand 560, 21 carat gold price is Tk 1 lakh 8 thousand 405, 18 carat is Tk 92 thousand 915 and traditional gold price is Rs. It will be 74 thousand 801 taka.

Earlier on Wednesday, Bajus reduced the price of gold by Tk 2100 per bar. Earlier on Tuesday, the price of gold was reduced by Tk 3 thousand 138. Earlier, the price of gold per bar was 1 lakh 19 thousand 428 taka.
