Thailand is burning in intense heat. At least 30 people have died of heat stroke in the country so far this year. The country’s government has issued a warning in this situation.

CNA media reported this information in a report on Thursday (April 25).

It is said that a temperature of 40.1 degrees Celsius was recorded in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, on Wednesday (April 24). The weather department has predicted that the temperature may remain like this on Thursday as well. It is feared that the temperature may exceed 52 degrees during this season. In this situation, an extreme heat wave warning has been issued in Bangkok.

Thailand’s Ministry of Health said that at least 30 people died of heat stroke in the country from January 1 to April 17. Last year, 37 people lost their lives due to heat stroke in the country.

Direk Khampayen, deputy director-general of Thailand’s disease control department, told news agency AFP that government officials urged the elderly and those with long-term illnesses to stay at home and drink water regularly.

Southeast Asian countries, including Thailand, usually have the hottest weather in April. But due to the El Nino style weather conditions, it has taken a terrible shape this year. For the past few days, there has been a terrible fire in various countries of South and Southeast Asia.

Meanwhile, due to the intense heat wave, school classes have been suspended in the Philippines. The citizens of the country said that the intensity of the heat is so high that it is difficult to breathe.
