Gold prices fell for the third day in a row. The price of a 22 carat gold bar has been reduced by 630 taka to 1 lakh 13 thousand 560 taka. This price is the lowest this year. Earlier, the price of gold was cut by Tk 1 lakh 14 thousand 190 yesterday.

Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) gave this information in a statement today (April 25).

According to Bajus, the price of acid gold in the local market has decreased. The new price of gold is fixed keeping in view the overall situation. The new price has been implemented from 3:50 PM today.

According to the new price, per bhari (11.664 grams) of 22 carat gold will cost Tk 1 lakh 13 thousand 560. Apart from this, the price of gold has been fixed at Tk 1 lakh 8 thousand 405 per 21 carat, Tk 92 thousand 915 per 18 carat and Tk 74 thousand 801 per traditional method.

The price of gold has been increased but the price of silver has been kept unchanged. According to the category, currently the price of 22 carat silver is 2 thousand 100 taka, 21 carat is 2 thousand 6 taka, 18 carat is 1715 taka and the price of traditional silver is 1 thousand 283 taka.
