2 killed including former leader of Krishak League in separate road accident

Two people were killed in separate accidents in Trishal and Phulpur upazilas of Mymensingh. Md. was injured. Another one named Nazrul Islam Deepak. The accident took place on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway and Mymensingh-Sherpur highway on Thursday morning (April 25).

The deceased are the former organizing secretary of Trishal Upazila Krishak League. Shamim Parvez (30). Currently he was active with Jubo League politics. On the other hand, Imadpur village of Phulpur upazila. A man named Suruj Ali (70) was killed by a truck.

Deputy Inspector (SI) of Trishal police station. Ashraful Islam confirmed the truth of the accident and said that Shamim and Nazrul Islam Deepak were returning to their home in Trishal from Mymensingh by private transport after selling fish from their fishery. At that time, when the private car carrying them came to Nuru’s shop on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway, it suddenly lost control and fell into a nearby ditch and collided with an electric pole. The private car caught fire. Later Shamim died on the spot. Being with him at this time. Nazrul Islam Deepak was injured.

SI also said that Shamim’s body has been recovered. Further action will be taken in view of the application of the family.

On the other hand, in Mymensingh’s Phulpur, Md. came out of the house to offer Fajr prayers and was hit by a truck. An old man named Suruj Ali has been confirmed by the officer-in-charge (OC) of the concerned police station. Mahabubur Rahman.

The OC said that when Suruj Ali came out of his house to offer Fajr prayers, he was suddenly hit by a speeding truck from Mymensingh at Imadpur on the Mymensingh-Sherpur highway. He died on the spot.

Suruj Ali’s body has been recovered. Along with this, the police officer also said that legal measures are under process.
