Three mass graves were discovered at Khan Younis in southern Gaza. 392 bodies have been identified in these mass graves. At least 20 of them were buried alive, Khan Younis’ Civil Defense Department said.
Abu Sulaiman, the head of the department, gave this information on Thursday and called on the international community to put pressure on Israel to stop the aggression in Gaza immediately.
Abu Sulaiman said, three mass graves were found next to Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis. One is behind the hospital morgue, one in front and the other near the dialysis building.
Only 65 of the bodies found in the mass grave have been identified by their relatives. Many bodies were mutilated.
He said the bodies were stacked together in the mass graves and the corpses showed evidence of field executions and burials alive.
20 bodies were buried alive
At least 20 of the bodies found in the mass graves were buried alive, said Mohammad Mughir, a member of the Palestinian Civil Defense. Many of them were handcuffed and some had medical tubes attached, he said.
“We will conduct forensic examination of at least 20 such bodies to clarify the matter,” he said.
The body of the child in the mass grave
Mohammad Mugir said that among the bodies found in the mass grave of Nasser Hospital were the bodies of children. He provided photographs and video information to journalists on this behalf.
Showing these evidences, he said, “This proves that the Israeli forces have committed crimes against humanity.”
