The price of gold fell again within a day. According to Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS), the price of good quality gold has been reduced by Tk 630.
Now the price of 1 bari gold of 22 carat is 1 lakh 13 thousand 561 taka. Earlier the price was 1 lakh 14 thousand 191 taka. On Thursday (April 25), the price of gold fell by Tk 5867 in three consecutive rounds.
Earlier on Tuesday (April 23), the price of gold was reduced by 3138. On Wednesday (April 24), the price of gold was reduced by 2 thousand 99 taka. Today, Thursday, the price of gold has been reduced by Tk 630
This information was informed in a press release signed by Chairman Masudur Rahman of Price Determination and Price Monitoring Standing Committee of Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) on Thursday (April 25).
According to the notification, the price of acid gold has decreased in the local market. The new price of gold is fixed keeping in view the overall situation. The new prices will be effective from 3:50 PM on Thursday.
According to the new price, the price of best quality or 22 carat gold (11.664 grams) is Tk 1 lakh 13 thousand 561, 21 carat gold is Tk 1 lakh 8 thousand 405, 18 carat Tk 92 thousand 915 and traditional method gold. The price is 74 thousand 801 rupees.
Although the price of gold has increased, the price of silver has remained unchanged. According to the category, currently the price of 22 carat silver is 2 thousand 100 taka, 21 carat price is 2 thousand 6 taka, 18 carat price is 1 thousand 715 taka and traditional method silver price is 1 thousand 283 taka.
Earlier, Bajus had increased the price of gold on 6, 8 and 18 of the current month of April. Among them, 1 thousand 750 taka was increased on 6 April, 1 thousand 750 taka on 8 April and 2 thousand 65 taka on 18 April. Later, on April 20, after a day of reduction of Tk 840, on April 21, Bajus again increased the load by Tk 630. After that, within 48 hours, Bajus announced to reduce the stock of good quality gold by 3138. On April 24, the price of gold was reduced by Tk 2 thousand 99. Today, Thursday, the price of gold has been reduced by Tk 630.
