Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has announced to reduce the price of gold again within a day. The price of good quality gold has been reduced by Rs 630. Now the price of a 22 carat gold bar has reduced by Tk 1 lakh 13 thousand 561. Earlier, the price of which was 1 lakh 14 thousand 191 taka.

This information was informed in a press release signed by Masudur Rahman, Chairman of Bajus Price Determination and Price Monitoring Standing Committee on Thursday (April 25).

Earlier, Bajus had increased the price of gold on April 6, 8 and 18. Among them, it increased by 1 thousand 750 taka on 6 April, 1 thousand 750 taka on 8 April and 2 thousand 65 taka on 18 April. Later, on April 20, after a day of reduction of Tk 840, on April 21, Bajus again increased the load by Tk 630.

Two days after this, Bajus announced a reduction of Tk 3 thousand 138 on April 23, Tk 2 thousand 99 on April 24 and Tk 630 on April 25. That is, the price of gold has decreased by 5 thousand 868 taka in three days.

According to the Gold Traders Association, the price of acid gold has decreased in the local market. The new price of gold is fixed keeping in view the overall situation. The new price has been implemented from 3:50 PM today.

The price of gold has been reduced but the price of silver has been kept unchanged. According to the category, currently the price of 22 carat silver is 2 thousand 100 taka, 21 carat price is 2 thousand 6 taka, 18 carat price is 1715 taka and traditional method silver price is 1 thousand 283 taka.
