An inspector of traffic police named Ruhul Amin died due to severe heat in Chapainawabganj. He died on Thursday (April 25) afternoon. Ruhul Amin Sonamsjid was working as Traffic Inspector (Inspector) at Land Port. He is the Benapole Municipality of Jessore. Son of Korban Ali.

Eyewitnesses said that traffic inspector Ruhul Amin suddenly fell ill in his own office while working at Sonamsjid land port around 1:15 pm. Later, when he was taken by car to Shibganj Upazila Health Complex, the doctor in charge declared him dead.

Shibganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sajjad Hossain told Dhaka Post that Ruhul Amin fell ill due to intense heat while working around noon. Then when he was taken to Shibganj Upazila Health Complex, the doctor on duty declared him dead. Doctors said that he died of stroke due to heat.

Al-Aqsa Mahal, the doctor in charge of Shibganj Upazila Health Complex, said that Ruhul Amin was brought to the hospital in a dead state. Later ECG is done to confirm death. It is initially believed that he died of a stroke.
