Rajshahi University (Rabi) 2023-24 academic year first year graduation (honours) class admission test filling process of category preference has started from 12 noon today. If the subject choice is not given within the stipulated time, the candidature of the passed department will be cancelled, the authorities said.
This information has been given in the admission notification of respective units published on the university website.
According to the notification, the qualified candidates have to fill the department preference online between 25th April to 4th May. Failure to complete the selection process within the stipulated time will result in cancellation of his/her candidature in this unit.
The notification further states that if selected for admission in a particular category after distribution of preference, one must take admission in that category, otherwise his/her candidature in that unit will be considered cancelled. Moreover, it is said to contact the help line for technical problems in online application.
Besides, on the afternoon of May 7, the first selection list of the three units will be published on the admission website of the university in the order of merit among the applicants who have filled the preference order. In case of ‘A’ unit, the first selection list admission process will be completed between 12th and 17th May. Which candidates must take admission between 12th to 20th May for ‘B’ Unit and 12th to 14th May for ‘C’ Unit. Selection for admission will be made on the basis of merit and preference from the waiting list for vacant seats. For this the probable schedule will be published in due course.
The interview for admission to Freedom Fighters and Minorities Quota will be held at the Office of the Student Counselor and the interview for admission to the Physically Handicapped Quota will be held at the Office of the Chief Medical Officer. For this separate notification will be published on the admission website in due course.
After the admission process, classes for new students will start from July 1.
