On Thursday (April 25) at noon, the hearing on the petition for the release of the accused ended in the court of Judge Ali Hossain of Dhaka’s Special Judge Court-3. The court then fixed April 29 as the date for ordering the framing of charges.

It is to be noted that on March 24, 2022, around 10:15 PM, Motijheel AGB Colony former general secretary of Awami League Jahidul Islam Tipu and college student Preeti were killed by unknown miscreants in front of Shajahanpur Amtala Islami Bank Hospital while returning home. Tipu’s driver was shot dead. Tipu’s wife Farzana Islam Dolly filed a case in that incident. Unknown persons are accused in the case.
