Another person named Jawahar Amin (18) died after being injured in a road accident while attending his cousin’s wedding ceremony at Baraigram in Natore. The deceased is the son of Madrasa teacher Maulana Ruhul Amin of Gopalpur village in Baraigram, Jawahar. She was a student of Fazil class in Jamhuriya Kamil Madrasa, Natore.
He died under treatment in the ICU of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital around 11 pm on Wednesday.
Earlier on April 15, his cousins Aqib Hasan (15) and Khairul Bashar Chagir (17) died in the hospital after being injured in a motorcycle accident in front of Baraigram central Eidgah ground while visiting their cousin’s wedding ceremony.
Shafiul Azam Khan, OC of Baraigram Police Station, said that on April 15, three cousins, including Jawahar, went for a ride on Dulabhai’s motorcycle while going to the wedding ceremony of his maternal sister in Dhamaniapara village. All three were seriously injured when they lost control on the way and collided with an electric pole. When the relatives got the news, they admitted them to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, where all three died one by one.
