In Siddhirganj, the student died after being stabbed by robbers

Siddhirganj, Narayanganj Madrasa student injured by robbers. Sifat (18) died. Sifat’s uncle Sheikh Md. confirmed the matter on Wednesday (April 24). Al-Imam.

He died while undergoing treatment in the ICU of Dhanmondi Popular Hospital on Tuesday night. The deceased madrasa student (Nasik) Ward No. 1 Painadi New Mohalla area. Son of Jumman Mia.

Earlier on Monday (April 22) Sheikh Md. Al-Imam filed a written complaint at Siddhirganj police station against the two unidentified robbers.

According to the complaint source, on the afternoon of April 19, the victim went out with his friend Sagar Sheikh (19) due to the closure of the Sifat Madrasa. At the end of the tour, around 9:30 PM, they both left for home, and as soon as they reached the Shimrail intersection of the Dhaka-Chittagong highway, 2 unidentified robbers blocked their way.

He then tried to snatch the cash and mobile phone from them. Then the friend who was with the immediate victim managed to escape from the hands of the robbers. In this situation, the robbers found the victim Sifat alone and cut him with a sharp knife. At one point, they snatched Sifat’s 2,000 taka cash and his mobile phone and left.

Siddhirganj Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Md. Mozammel Haque said that efforts are being made to identify and arrest the robbers based on the complaint. Soon they will be brought under the law.
