Unidentified terrorists fired at a moving truck on the border road of Thanchi upazila in Bandarban.
The truck was reportedly engaged in transporting bricks.

The incident took place in the eight kilometer area of the Thanchi-Likri border road of Thanchi upazila around 3:30 pm on Wednesday.

A worker in the truck told The Daily Star that they were transporting bricks in four trucks for the construction of the Thanchi-Baklai border road.
On the condition of anonymity, he said, “Terrorists who were riding camels on the side of the road while returning to Thanchi after dropping bricks fired seven shots at the truck from the forest.”
He said that there were no casualties even though the truck was shot at in different places.
When asked, Thanchi Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Jasim Uddin told the Daily Star, ‘I heard that terrorists shot at the truck working on the border road. News is being taken. Legal action will be taken if complaints are received.’
