According to the statement, the price of acid gold has decreased in the local market. The new price of gold is fixed keeping in view the overall situation. The new prices will be effective from 4:50 PM on April 24.
According to the new prices, the price of best quality or 22 carat (11.664 grams) gold will be Tk 1 lakh 14 thousand 190, 21 carat gold will be Tk 1 lakh 9 thousand, 18 carat will be Tk 93 thousand 428 and traditional method gold will be priced at Rs. 75 thousand 209 taka.
The price of gold has been increased but the price of silver has been kept unchanged. According to the category, currently the price of 22 carat silver is 2 thousand 100 taka, 21 carat is 2 thousand 6 taka, 18 carat is 1715 taka and the price of traditional silver is 1 thousand 283 taka.
