The price of gold has fallen again in the country’s market. Newly, the price of good quality gold has decreased by 2 thousand 100 taka. As a result, good quality gold (22 carats) will be sold at 1 lakh 14 thousand 190 taka in the country’s market from now on.

The new gold rate will be effective across the country from 4:50 PM on Wednesday.

This information has been informed in a press release of Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS).

According to the notification, the price of Tazabi (pure gold) gold has decreased in the local market. That’s why Bajus decided to adjust the price of gold.

According to the new price, the price of a 21 carat gold bar has been reduced to Tk 1 lakh 9 thousand. Besides, the price of 18 carat gold has been fixed at Tk 93 thousand 429. And the price of one bar of traditional gold has decreased to 75 thousand 209 taka.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged. According to the category, currently the price of 22 carat silver is 2 thousand 100 taka. The price of 21 carat silver is Rs 2,660 and the price of 18 carat silver is Rs 1,715. And the price of one load of traditional method has been fixed at 1 thousand 283 rupees.
