Bajus has reduced the price of gold again

Amid the instability in the gold market of Bangladesh, the price of gold fell by 2 thousand 99 taka once again.

Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) set the new prices on Wednesday (April 24).

According to the new price, the price of good quality 22 carat gold has been increased to Tk 1 lakh 14 thousand 191.

With this, the top organization of gold traders has changed the price of gold for the seventh time this month.

On April 6, 8, 18 and 21, the gold price was increased by Tk 5,190 in four rounds and the gold price was reduced by Tk 6,77 in three rounds on April 20, 23 and 24.

Bajus increased gold prices by Tk 1,750 on April 6, Tk 1,750 on April 8, Tk 2,650 on April 18 and Tk 630 on April 21. On the other hand, on April 20, the gold price was reduced by Tk 840, on April 23 by Tk 3,138 and lastly on April 24 by Tk 299.

Masudur Rahman, President of Bajus Price Determination and Price Monitoring Standing Committee, issued a price reduction notification on Wednesday.

According to the new prices, the price of gold per 22 carat (11.664 grams) will be 1 lakh 14 thousand 191 taka. Apart from this, 1 lakh 9 thousand taka per 21 carat gold, 93 thousand 429 taka per 18 carat gold and 75 thousand 209 taka per traditional method.

The price of silver has been kept unchanged even as the price of gold has fallen.

According to the category, currently the price of 22 carat silver is 2 thousand 100 taka, 21 carat is 2 thousand 6 taka, 18 carat is 1 thousand 715 taka and the price of traditional silver is 1 thousand 283 taka.
