One died of heat stroke in Kurigram

An old man named Nazir Hossain (71) died of heat stroke in Chilmari, Kurigram. On Wednesday (April 24) morning, he fell ill at his home in Ramna Biparipara village of Ramna Union of the upazila and died.
Ramana Union Parishad (UP) Chairman Golam Ashek confirmed the matter on Wednesday afternoon.
Local UP Member (Member) Rokonuzzaman Sarkar said that Nazir Hossain, the son of Ashurullah Bepari, the deceased of Ramna Biparipara village, was worried about a family matter. Also, he was drinking water repeatedly due to heavy rain since morning. Suddenly he fell unconscious. He breathed his last shortly thereafter. He is believed to have died of heat stroke.
Ramna Union Parishad (UP) Chairman Golam Ashek said the body of the old man was buried in the family grave.
