Mother jumped under the train with her child in Chandpur, mother and son’s body was recovered

Mother Tahamina (23) jumped under the train with her one-year-old son Abdur Rahman in Hajiganj of Chandpur. Police recovered two bodies.

The incident took place on Wednesday afternoon in Mukimabad area of ​​Hajiganj upazila on Laksam-Chandpur railway road.

Tahmina Haji is the daughter of Rafiqul Islam of Dewanji village of Dhadda village in Ganj upazila. She is a mother of two children.

Her husband is Masud of Swarna village of Bakila Union No. 2 of Hajiganj Upazila. They got divorced about a month and a half ago. Husband is currently abroad.

Chandpur Railway Police recovered two dead bodies after the incident. This was confirmed by the OC of Hajiganj police station Abdur Rashid.

Tahmina posted a status on her Facebook ID before her death, which read, No one is responsible for my death.

Mohsin Molla, a local resident, said that Tahmina was married in the family of Masud of Swarna village. After the marriage, they get confused about many things. Among them, two children were born in their family. After a few days, the family dispute between the two became evident and they got divorced a month and a half ago. Presently Tahmina was staying at her father’s house.

On the day of the incident, Tahmina came out telling her mother to come to Hajiganj market. Later I heard that the train had been cut. On reaching the spot, Tahmina and her one-year-old child were hit by the train.

Mahasin Molla also said, I know all these things. I have many documents of her husband. After Tahmina’s divorce, her husband Masood used to threaten her in various ways, due to which she jumped under a train with her child in anger.
