Retired teacher died of heat stroke in Rajbari

A retired teacher died of heatstroke at Goland in Rajbari.

It is reported that he died while undergoing treatment at the Upazila Health Complex on Wednesday (April 24) at around eleven o’clock in the morning.

The teacher’s name is Md. Noor Islam (75). His house is in Baliadanga village of Goaland upazila. He was a retired teacher of a local government primary school.

Upazila health and family planning officer about the family of the deceased. Farsim Tarannum Haque said that around 10 o’clock in the morning he suddenly fell ill in the courtyard of his house due to extreme heat. The family members first noticed and poured water on his head. Later he was taken to Golanda Upazila Health Complex. He died at around 11 o’clock while undergoing treatment there.

Dr. Farsim Tarannum Haque also said, a seventy-five-year-old patient came. He was suffering from diabetes for a long time. He died while undergoing treatment before we arrived here. We believe he died of heat stroke.
