This support package includes 400 vehicles, 60 boats, 1,600 rounds of ammunition and 4 million rounds of ammunition.
The British government said the shipment of military aid would also include British Storm Shadow long-range missiles. The range of this missile is about 240 kilometers (150 miles). It is capable of effectively hitting Russian targets.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak for announcing this new aid package.
Sunak spoke with Zelensky Tuesday morning about confirming the package. The British Prime Minister then said that he would announce this package after meeting Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg during his visit to Warsaw this afternoon.
