The price of gold has been further reduced in the country’s market within a day. The new price has been reduced by Tk 2 thousand 139 for a 22 carat lot. In this, the price of good quality gold stands at 1 lakh 14 thousand 151 taka.

This information was informed in a circular of Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) on Wednesday (April 24). It is informed that the new price of gold will be effective from 4:50 PM today.

According to the new price, the price of the best quality or 22 carat gold bar has been reduced by Tk 2,139 to Tk 1,14,151. The price of a 21 carat gold bar has been reduced from Tk 1,995 to Tk 1,900.

Apart from this, the price of one 18 carat gold bar has been fixed at Tk 93 thousand 429. And the price of one bar of traditional gold has decreased to 75 thousand 209 taka.

However, the price of silver remains unchanged. According to the category, currently the price of 22 carat silver is 2 thousand 100 taka. The price of 21 carat silver is Rs 2,660 and the price of 18 carat silver is Rs 1,715. And the price of one load of traditional method has been fixed at 1 thousand 283 rupees.

A day earlier, on April 23, the price of good quality or 22 carat gold (11.664 grams) was reduced by Tk 3,136 to Tk 1,16,290.

Now again by reducing the price, the price of good quality gold has decreased by 5 thousand 277 taka in two days.
