The price of gold has fallen again in the country’s market within a day. Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has reduced the price of good quality gold by Tk 2139 for one bhori or 22 carat bhori (11.664 grams).

In this, the price of good quality gold has increased to 1 lakh 14 thousand 151 taka. Bajus said the new prices will be effective from Wednesday afternoon.

On Wednesday (April 24), the Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) announced the price reduction in gold in a press release. It is said that the price of Tazabi (pure gold) gold has decreased in the local market. That’s why Bajus decided to adjust the price of gold.

Earlier, Bajus had reduced by Rs 3138 on Tuesday. Now by reducing again the price of good quality gold has decreased by 5 thousand 277 taka in two days.

According to the new prices, the price of a 21 carat gold bar has been reduced from Tk 1,995 to Tk 1,900. The price of one 18-carat gold bar has been reduced from Tk 1,714 to Tk 93,429. Apart from this, the price of traditional gold has been reduced by 1 thousand 377 taka to 75 thousand 209 taka.

While the price of gold has been reduced, the price of silver has remained unchanged. The price of 22 carat silver is Tk 2,100, 21 carat is Tk 2,6, 18 carat is Tk 1,715 and traditional silver is Tk 1,283.
