[৩] This price has been reduced in view of the reduction in the price of acid gold (seasoned gold) in the local market.
[৪] Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) said that the new price will be effective from 4:50 pm on Wednesday.
[৫] Earlier, on Tuesday, the price of one bar of good quality gold was reduced by Tk 3,138 to Tk 1,16,290 with an announcement on Tuesday. Now by reducing the price again, the price of good quality gold has reduced by 5 thousand 277 taka in two days.
[৬] On Wednesday, Bajus Standing Committee on Pricing and Price Monitoring Committee meeting decided to reduce prices again. Later this information was informed in a circular signed by the chairman of the committee, Masudur Rahman.
[৭] According to the notification, the price of acidic gold has decreased in the local market. Therefore, considering the overall situation, Bangladesh Jewelery Association has fixed the new price of gold, which will be effective from 4:50 PM on Wednesday (April 24).
[৮] According to the new price, the price of the best quality or 22 carat gold has been reduced by Tk 2,139 to Tk 1,14,151. The price of a 21 carat gold bar has been reduced from Tk 1,995 to Tk 1,900.
[৯] Besides, the price of one 18 carat gold bar has been reduced from 1 thousand 714 taka to 93 thousand 429 taka. And the price of one load of traditional gold has been reduced from 1 thousand 377 taka to 75 thousand 209 taka.
